'Tatva' has been derived from the Sanskrit word 'Panchtatva' & means 'Essence' or 'Element'. 'Panchtatva' according to Indian Mythology represents the five elements from which life evolves. The five elements are Prithvi, Jal, Vayu, Agni, Akash. ‘Tatva’ is a repository of art, culture and nature. It is a treasure trove of ideas, inspirations and innovations that are drawn from nature, blended with gems of Indian culture and bound by an artistic touch to add a whole new grandeur to your life. We have made an endeavor to design our festival drawing inspiration from these elements & have tried to convey a message of harmony with the elements, which today is essence of life.
Human beings have a natural and emotional affinity with the earth and soil. The Prithvi events; the tug-of-war and football are inspired by this affinity of man.
After earth, water is the most important element. Imagine an intellect as calm, a will as relentless and indomitable and a personality as adaptable as water and you will have envisioned a mind like water. The Jal events are enthused by the element, water.
Agni symbolizes energy and exuberance. All the Agni events are inspired from the element fire. Flamboyant, lively and colorful events.
The air is vital for our survival. And this two day event is an opportunity to test your survival instinct. Two days of grueling tasks and torture cells will push you to your maximum physical and psychological limits!
