TURN COURT
Test your skills as an advocate. Set aside your convictions. Speak for the given topic and switch sides when buzzer sounds.
Þ Maximum of 2 participants are allowed to participate in this event, per college.
Þ Topics for this event will be allotted to the participants at the time the event is conducted.
Þ Each participant will be given 5 minutes to prepare the same.
Þ Each participant is expected to start speaking for the topic or against the topic as he/she wishes. Once the bell rings, the participant should immediately switch over to the other side. If he/she was speaking for the topic, he should start speaking against the topic and vice-versa.
Þ Participants will be disqualified if they make gaudy or lewd statements.
Þ In case of any ambiguities in the rules the decision of the organizing committee will be final and binding
