Part I - Introductory Concepts in information technology


This module provides an introduction to the Information technology Act, 2000, which forms the foundation for the course. It moves on to discuss computer fundamentals and details the relevant definitions from the IT Act. This section also outlines the fundamental concepts related to the internet.

Part III - Intellectual Property Issues

Part IV - E-Contracts

This module entails an analysis of those sections of the Information Technology Act, 2000 that relate to electronic contracts. It also includes a session on drafting of e-contracts.

Part V - Cyber Crimes

This module lays down the technical and legal issues related to cyber crimes. It also dwells on those provisions of the IT Act and the Indian Penal Code, which deal with adjudication and investigation of these crimes. Lastly, it discusses cyber legal drafting related issues.
