The LLM (Master
of Laws Degree) program in this College is a two-year, rigorous, taught
cum research program conducted on behalf of Goa University. Successful completion
of this program leads to the award of an LLM Degree by Goa University.
Recognizing
the need for advanced, specialized study in Law, the program offers an unique
opportunity to specialize in any one of the following branches of Law: Human
Rights Branch; Commercial Law Branch; Labour Law Branch or Criminology Branch,
at the second year level.

of Laws) Degree by Goa University, to successful candidates.

The LLM Programme
in this college is a taught cum research programme.
Duration
Four semesters, spread evenly over two years.
The LLM Programme consists of four semesters spread evenly over a period
of two years. First year of the LLM Programme consisting of Semester I &
II and Second year LLM consisting of Semester III & IV.
Admission Dates
Admissions to the first semester of the Programme are usually in the month
of July or as per the notification issued by Goa University.. Desirous candidates
are requested to get in touch with the Coordinator of the Programme, in
the college office.
Admission Requirements
Any person who has obtained Bachelors Degree in Law either by the Three
Year programme or the Five Year Programme, recognised by the Bar Council
of India, from Goa University or any other University recognised by the
Bar Council of India and UGC and has obtained minimum 50% marks at the aggregate
at the final year of the examination of such degree, shall be eligible for
admission to the LLM Programme.
Note: Students are advised that the above mentioned eligibility requirements
are the basic minimum requirements prescribed by Goa University. Admissions
will be in the order of merit and according to the availability of seats.
As such satisfying the minimum criteria does not by itself guarantee admission
to the LLM Programme.
