Woman, the mother of everyone. In Indian mythology we worship MAA DURGA, but in real life what we do. We try to dominate woman according to our needs. Some time we do bad things with them. Try to hurt them. Try to insult them.
Now in the current time all the boys who say they are true gentle man, I want to ask a question to them……….. what they think about the girls or woman. Do the ready to accept her like boss in office, superior in home. May be the answer is yes, but in the real world we don’t.
If we see crime against woman, it growing day-by-day. And most of the crime is done but the motive of satisfaction. Now in our society, woman are feeling unsecured. Why?
Now a day we are accepting the
western culture but our society is ready for that. No. Day by day the number of
rape cases are increased in all the metro cities. In the capital of
Why is it
that they do not address the prevention of rape as a serious issue while
preparing and executing the blueprints of
Each time
a slum is demolished and large numbers of people relocated, the issue of the
safety of women and girls is neither seriously debated nor considered. When a
mall, subway or a multiplex cinema is built, the idea that the urban
environment should facilitate rather than impede the safety of women is not
given any attention. Even when the Delhi Metro blueprint was being prepared, it
did not take into account the increased vulnerabilities for women caused during
its execution or by the change in bus routes.
Why is it
that the prevention of rape and sexual violence is only about telling women to
learn the skills of self-defence, use cell phones, avoid going out in the dark
or calling for increased police presence? While the planning of the city by
itself will not stop all such incidents of violence, surely planners who take
deterrence seriously could contribute significantly in creating women-friendly
urban environments? Why have urban planners not built in the prevention of rape
into both the development and regulation of the city?
In other
words, where there are no effective techniques of surveillance in place or
where the urban landscape hinders the means to resist violent attacks, the
conditions for rape to occur with impunity are created. Such conditions
legitimise the implicit perception (albeit distorted) that women must be raped
in public spaces to project the city as masculine and available to all kinds of
crude and violent male fantasies.
So, now
can we are able to say that we are gentle man and living in a good society. No,
never. We need to change our mentality as well as we have to accept him as a
part of society. We have to protect them. So time is come and we have to take a
step ahead and come together and work for the nation.
