Timing: 11:30 a.m. To 12:30 p.m.The programme on Traffic rules and road safety was conducted for the students of Std. 8th, 9th and 10th and was attended by their class teacher's. 1. The programme began with an introduction given by deputy incharge Mr. Amay.
2. Then Mr. Amay explained the various types of sign boards their importance to the students.
3. It was followed by a skit, illustrating the consequences of a minor riding a vehicle (Acted by: Yunna, Neha, Marc, Amay, Shivraj, Omkar and narration was done by Ula).
5. Mr.Shivraj explained the Do’s and Don’t s that the user's of the road should remember while using the road.
6. Ms.Neha explained the various important sections under the Motor Vehicles Act and various precautions that a vehicle driver should keep in mind.
7. Ms.Vijayashree than explained the various penalties in case of violation of certain provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act.
8. Mr.Omkar and Mr.Shivraj than explained the poster's which depicted the traffic rules provided by the Goa Police Traffic Cell.
6. The programme was concluded with the vote of thanks delivered by the deputy cell incharge Mr.Amay.
